After working with a solid team in school, I realised the difference between a secular leader, and a cell leader. Hahaha. It's funny how I observe and pick up certain things.

The most major one I learnt, is that the secular leader, they only care about getting things done. Who cares what way they get it done, but they just want it done. They don't care about the welfare of the team mates, I mean, yes they care, to a certain extent, but the most of it is to get it all done. :/

Whereas the cell leader, they care about the lives at hand. Even if at the end of the day, things don't get accomplished, I guess to me, it's the lives which matter most. If I don't complete the tasks at hand, and lives get touched and lives changed, I think I have met the objective. :/ Even if I have failed to complete the tasks.

I used to think that, no matter what, by hook or by crook, I better get things done regarding church stuff, or else I failed. But I guess God has His ways of changing perspective here and there, through experiences and many others. And right now, all that matters, is the lives getting changed by God. Of course it would be added bonus if I get to meet the objectives and do the tasks to completion. But that wouldn't be priority. :/

There are many differences la. But also it's ups and downs. At least the secular side, they get things done, and they are competant in many other things. :) Whereas cell side, we're only good at the emotional side, caring and all, but competant wise, can't compare i guess.

I guess at the end of the day, it's the different objectives of leading. Different world, and different tasks. Maybe for secular is to really do things and to see how far you go, after all, each man for his own. But for the cell side, I guess it's about the lives being touched for God and changed. So can't compare. Hahah. Afterall, it's different. So I am not comparing.

:D Good day! :O
